Ardell Krueger

F. Ardell Krueger, 83, of Northwood, ND passed away Thursday, April 6, 2017 in the comfort of his home in Northwood. Funeral services will be held Sunday, April 9, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. at Washington Lutheran Church, rural Northwood, ND. A visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the service at the church.

Ardell was born November 11, 1933 in Plymouth Township, rural Niagara, ND, to Walter and Dora (Plantiko) Krueger. He attended country school and graduated from Niagara High School. Ardell served in the U.S. Air Force, stationed in Lackland, TX. He was in the trucking business for many years.

On November 20, 1971, Ardell married Lorraine Berge and they made their home in Northwood. He worked as a farmer until he retired in 1995. Ardell was a member of the Washington Lutheran Churcn and was also a lifelong member of the North Dakota Fireman's Association and the American Legion.

Survivors include his children: Jodi (Lance) Fugleberg and Jerilyn (Josh) Braaten, both of Portland, ND; grandchildren: Breck, Lucas, Jordan (Cody), and Jackson; children from his first marriage: Kathy, Douglas and Janelle Krueger; sisters: Marcy Halstenson and Susan (John) Steinke;

Preceding him in death was his wife, Lorraine; son, Danny; brother, Norman; twin sister, Ardyce and his parents.
