Barbara Bye

Barbara Bye, 85, formerly of Hatton, ND passed away Monday, November 14, 2016 at Sheyenne Crossing in West Fargo, ND. Funeral services will be held Monday, November 21, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at St. John Lutheran Church in Hatton. A visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service at the church. Burial will be held in the St. John Cemetery, Hatton, ND.

Barbara Evenson was born July 9, 1931 in Taft, ND to Even and Lilly (Iverson) Evenson. She grew up around the Cummings, ND area and graduated from Hatton High School. On March 25, 1950, Barbara married Gail Bye in East Grand Forks, MN. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church and enjoyed gardening.

Survivors include her children: Michael (Connie) Bye, New Braunfels, TX; Steve (Gayle) Bye, Dilworth, MN; David (Cindy) Bye, Nobelsville, IN; Leslie Bye, Burnet, TX; Tommy Bye, East Grand Forks, MN; Barbara Gail Hicks, Fort Myers, FL; 17 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Mick Evenson;

Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, grandson, Nicholas, sisters, Ann Pladson and Marie Riggs and brothers, Russell Evenson and Ernie Evenson.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to St. John Lutheran Church, Hatton, ND.
