Craig Mattern

Craig Mattern, 52, of Hatton, ND, passed away Sunday, May 19, 2013 at his home in Hatton. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at 1:00pm at Zoar Lutheran Chruch in Hatton. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the time of the service at the church.
Craig was born August 10, 1960 in Tacoma, Washington to Maynard and Marie (Dionne) Mattern. In 1978, Craig graduated from Hatton High School. After high school, Craig attended school for welding. He worked at Hatton Co-op for over 20 years. Craig loved hunting, fishing, and animals, especially the dogs Putz, Baby and cow Bossy. Craig also loved spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his son, Jared (Ashley) Mattern, Moore, OK; father, Maynard Mattern, Hatton, ND; brothers: Darold (Sue) Mattern, Fargo, ND, Gary Mattern, Hatton, ND; sisters: Barbara Riemer and Joyce (Robert) Cambronero, both of Seattle, WA. Craig is also survived by numerous uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews.
Preceding Craig in death was his mother, Marie, grandparents, and loving dog Putz.
