Darlene Noyes

Darlene Noyes, 79, of Northwood, ND passed away Friday, January 19, 2018 at Northwood Deaconess Health Center in Northwood. A memorial service will be held Thursday, January 25, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Northwood Deaconess Health Center Dining Room Chapel in Northwood. A visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service in the dining room.

Darlene Lian was born December 19, 1938 to Ingvald and Jessie Lian. She grew up in Aneta and graduated from Aneta High School in 1957. After high school, Darlene attended Aakers Business College in Grand Forks, ND.

Darlene always enjoyed spending time with children. Throughout her life, she worked in many different roles involving children. She enjoyed visiting with anyone who passed through her life. Darlene enjoyed the summer months where she could sit outside in the warming sun. She especially enjoyed the time she spent with family.

She is survived by her children: David Noyes, Tolna, ND; Delila (Jim) Poole, Grand Forks, ND; Darrell (Janine) Noyes, Grand Forks, ND; grandchildren: Amber, Heather, Jesse, Tyler, Dustin, Jennifer, Kellie, Nicholas and her 17 precious great-grandchildren.
