Times were tough back in those days. Dennis attended School at Hatton Public School where he made many lifelong friends. When Dennis was 18 he enlisted in the Navy and served on the USS Whetstone. Dennis was there with a smile and a big chest! He loved them all and was so proud of them! Dennis is well known for his love of the Minnesota Twins and baseball. He rarely missed a game! In the summertime he would sit out at the picnic table and listen on the radio! He was also a huge Vikings fan. He instilled his love of the Twins and the Vikings on his children and grandchildren. That Legacy will carry on for Generations! Dennis loved the outdoors and spent a lot of time fishing, working on his lawn, gardening and driving around on his golf cart visiting people around the neighborhood! Always a smile and a wave! If He wasn't in the golf cart he was in one of his other vehicles. Everyone in town saw him virtually on a daily basis! Dennis was a kind, giving and caring man helping out anyone at any time if he was able! He truly loved his children his
