Donna Bye

Donna Bye, 80, of Hatton, ND passed away Friday, May 16, 2014 at Hatton Prairie Village in Hatton. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at 10:30a.m. at St. John Lutheran Church in Hatton. A visitation will be held Monday, May 19, 2014 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. with a 7:00p.m. prayer service at the Hatton Prairie Village chapel in Hatton.
Donna Enger was born August 8, 1933 to Roy and Mabel Enger (Bothen). She grew up in rural Mayville and graduated from Lindaas Township School, rural Mayville. In 1952, Donna married Clarence Bye in Portland, ND. Donna worked at the Hatton Wash Plant until her retirement in 1975. She enjoyed bingo, going to church, visiting, and spending time with family.
Survivors include her children: Sharon (John) Griggs, Branson, MO, Nancy (Dale) Denney, Port Arthur, TX, Don (Elaine) Bye, Grand Forks, ND, Doug Bye, Hatton, ND; six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; Sisters: Ruby Bye, Diane Breidenbach; brother, Ron (Carol) Enger.
Preceding her in death were her parents, husband Clarence, daughter Lorie, sisters: Kay Kjorven and Verna Grandalen.
