Evelyn Maristuen

Evelyn Maristuen, 78, of Northwood, North Dakota died Wednesday, July 14, 2010 at the Northwood Deaconess Health Center in Northwood.

Funeral Services will be 10:30 am, Saturday, July 17, 2010 at the Swarstad Chapel in Northwood with burial in Northwood City Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Friday at the Swarstad Chapel from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm with a 7:00 pm Prayer Service and one hour prior to services.

Evelyn was born August 11, 1931 to Timan and Inga Maristuen in Northwood. She was baptized in Northwood Evangelical Lutheran Church and raised to womanhood in Northwood. She moved to St. Paul, Minnesota and in 1976 returned to Northwood.

She is survived by one son Mike (Roxanne) Maristuen of Stacy, MN; three daughters Cindy (Bill) Neeck of Lino Lakes, MN, Dianne (Brad Ostlie) of Northwood, and Kathy LaFleur of Shoreview, MN; ten grandchildren Leanne, Matt, Brooke, Adam, Ashlie, Alexis, Jacob, Jim, Dylan, and Kayla.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Engebrigt and Kermit; sister, Anne; and infant twins Oscar and Olina.

The Bilden Funeral Home on Northwood is assisting the family with arrangements.
