Harlan Enger

Harlan Enger, 62, of Northwood, ND passed away Saturday, November 10, 2012 at his home in Northwood. Funeral services will be held Wednesday November 14, 2012 at 10:30am at Ebenezer Free Lutheran Church in Northwood. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 13, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00pm with a prayer service at 8:00pm at the Bilden Funeral Home in Northwood.

Harlan was born May 22, 1950 in Northwood, ND to Clark and Nathalie (Midboe) Enger. He grew up and attended school in Northwood. On January 7, 1972, he married Maxine Paulson at Mayville, ND. He worked as a farm laborer in the Northwood, Hatton, and Niagara areas. Of the many things Harlan occupied his time with was cooking and tinkering with anything mechanical. If he could do both of these outdoors, Harlan would consider life at that moment perfect. It's been mentioned that Harlen's blood klub was the finest around. Harlan took great pride in and loved his grandchildren very much and also the love for his companion, Taz.
Harlan is survived by his children: Tanya Tandberg, Northwood, ND, Tracy (Jeffrey) Yeargan, Rapid City, SD, Tara Wolfe, Northwood, ND, Travis (Callie) Enger; mother, Nathalie Enger, Northwood, ND, siblings: Kathy (Dennis) Sherva, Northwood, James (Laurie) Enger, Hatton, ND; 13 grandchildren and one great-grandson.
Preceding him in death was his father, and siblings: Larry Enger, Loretta Enger, and Clayton Enger.
