Jabin Newmes

Jabin Newmes, 6, of Portland, ND passed away Sunday, June 7, 2015 in Blanchard, ND. Funeral services will be held Monday, June 15, 2015 at 10:00a.m at Northwood Evangelical Lutheran Church in Northwood. A visitation will be held Sunday, June 14, 2015 from 4:00 to 6:00p.m at the church.

Jabin Elden Newmes was born December 11, 2009 to Jason Newmes and Megan Fisher in Grand Forks, ND. He attended kindergarten in Mayville, ND. He was so proud to be in school and loved going to church with his grandma Bonnie and Ross. Jabin loved spending time riding motorcycle with his uncle Ricky. He loved watching Spongebob and playing video games. Jabin was a little bit shy but the most honest and sweet loving boy. He loved purple and loved bringing purple flowers every time he visited his grandmas. Jabin was a very loving and protective big brother. He wanted to be a cowboy and loved trucks and animals.

Survivors include his sisters: Savannah Newmes, Isabella Rose Fisher, Trinity Diane Rose Fisher; father, Jason Newmes; grandmother, Bonnie Fisher; uncles: Randy Fisher, Billy Bakke and Butch (Gary) Denault; grandparents, Diane and Andy Newmes. Jabin is also survived by many loving cousins and great aunts and uncles.

Preceding him in death was his mother, Megan Fisher; grandpa, Rick Lee Fisher Sr.; great-grandpa, Willard F. Knutson; and uncle, Ricky Lee Fisher Jr.
