Judith Tandberg

Judith Tandberg, 81, of Northwood, ND passed away Thursday, June 3, 2021 at Northwood Deaconess Health Center in Northwood. A memorial service will be held Friday, June 11, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at the Bilden-Askew Funeral Home in Northwood. A visitation will be held from 12:00  p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Judith Franklin was born November 8, 1939 in Aneta, ND to Ole and Myrtle (Drengson) Franklin. She grew up in Aneta and graduated from Aneta High School. On July 7, 1957, Judy married Gerald Tandberg in Aneta. They lived in Finley and Sharon, where Judy was a stay at home mom. They moved to Northwood where Judy worked at North Central Jobbers and was a cook at the Northwood Senior Citizens Center. She enjoyed spending time outside and riding her bike. Survivors include her son, Scott (Kim) Tandberg, Fergus Falls, MN; daughter, Kim Schmidt, Appleton, WI; grandchildren: Josh (Miranda) Tandberg, Jarad Tandberg, Jacob Tandberg, McKaslin Winter, Sasha Tandberg, Jenna (Cody) Bratlie, Harley Tandberg and Cheyenne Tandberg; great-grandchildren: Maeci and Keylen Tandberg, and Wyatt, Stormy and Lane Bratlie; brother, Tom Franklin; Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, Gerald and son, Kevin.
