Katherine Holweger

Katherine Holweger, 50, of Northwood, ND passed away Friday, November 22, 2013, at her home in Northwood. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 26, 2013, at 2:00p.m. at Holmes United Methodist Church, rural Reynolds, ND. A visitation will be held Monday, November 25, from 5:00 to 7:00p.m. with a 7:00p.m. prayer service at the Bilden Funeral Home, Northwood, ND.
Katherine Ann Holweger was born August 26, 1963, in Northwood to Henry and Eva (LaFontaine) Holweger. She was baptized in the Pleasant View Methodist Church and confirmed in the Holmes United Methodist Church. Kathy attended Northwood Public School graduating in 1981.
Kathy worked in the dietary department at Northwood Deaconess Health Center for 35 years. She loved taking pictures and was always the family photographer. She loved spending time with family and was very proud of her nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Other things she enjoyed were reading, cooking, country music, and spending time on the computer.
Kathy is survived by and will be missed greatly by her mother Eva, Northwood, ND; brothers: Jim (Chris), Hatton, ND, Dan (Tammy), Grand Forks, ND, Tom (Patti), Detroit Lakes, MN; sisters: Chris (Dick), Grand Forks, ND, and Cindy (Keith), Valley City, ND, and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Preceding her in death was her father, Henry.
