Kent Knutson

Kent Knutson, 47, of Northwood, North Dakota died Friday, February 4, 2011 at the Northwood Deaconess Health Center in Northwood.

Funeral Services will be 2:00 pm, Tuesday, February 8, 2011 at the Ebenezer Free Lutheran Church in Northwood with burial in Northwood City Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Church on Monday from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm with a 7:00 pm Prayer Service and one hour prior to services in the church.

Kent Charles Knutson was born May 22, 1963 at Fosston, Minnesota the son of Lloyd and Gladys (Boytain) Knutson. He was raised in Bagley and graduated from Bagley High School in 1981. He then moved to Montana where he worked construction before moving to Northwood in the spring of 1983. He began working at Korsmo Brothers in Northwood where has been for the last 27 years. On August 28, 1999 he was united in marriage to Jami Myron in Northwood where they have since made their home.

Kent enjoyed hunting and fishing, was very active in the Northwood Men's Club and truly enjoyed helping others.

He is survived by his wife Jami; mother, Gladys (Odin) Tollefson of Bagley, Minnesota; brothers, Wade (Sue) Knutson, Lance (Renee) Knutson, Clyde (Peggy) Knutson and Klay (Wendy) Knutson all of Bagley, Minnesota; sister, Cindy Knutson of Clearwater, Minnesota; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lloyd and brother, Carter Knutson.

The Bilden Funeral Home of Northwood is assisting the family with arrangements.
