Linda White

Linda White, 66, of Grand Forks, ND, passed away Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks. A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 17, 2015 at 11:00am at Northwood Evangelical Lutheran Church in Northwood, ND. A visitation will be held from 9:00am until the time of the service at the church.

Linda Nelson was born July 1, 1948 in Roseau, MN to James and Phyllis (Hammer) Nelson. She grew up in Badger, MN before moving to Northwood, ND, where she graduated from Northwood High School. After high school, she attended Aakers Business College. Linda married Larry Bina, to this union were born, their sons, Bart and Bret. She then married Grant White and together, they had a daughter Heather.

Linda worked as a bank teller at Metropolitan Federal Bank in Grand Forks and as a customer service representative at Popplers Music Store in Grand Forks. She loved reading, listening to music, going to the casino with her parents and siblings, crafting, pottery, drawing, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her children: Bart Bina, Roseau, MN; Bret Bina, Grand Forks, ND; Heather (Dean) Lee, Fergus Falls, MN; grandchildren: Nicholas Bina, Savannah and Kaitlyn Lee, and Austin Gendron; siblings: Carole Glomstad, Grand Forks, ND; Jeff (Diane) Nelson, Northwood, ND; Meri Beth (Kim) Bjoralt, Fargo, ND; Mike Nelson, Grand Forks, ND;

Preceding her in death were her parents and brother Mark.
