Ross Lange

Ross Lange, 92, passed away Saturday, November 18, 2023, at Hatton Prairie Village in Hatton, ND. A memorial service will be held Saturday, December 2, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at Holmes United Methodist Church, rural Reynolds, ND. A visitation will be held Friday, December 1, 2023, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. prayer service at the Hatton Prairie Village Chapel in Hatton.

Ross Lange was born February 20, 1931, in rural Reynolds, ND, to Elroy and Esther (Lenz) Lange. He was raised on the family farm west of Reynolds in the Holmes Community with a brother and a sister. He attended country school through 8^th grade and graduated from Central High School in Grand Forks, ND. On September 26, 1954, Ross married June Roeder at Holmes Church. They raised three sons and three daughters in the house that Ross helped build on the family farm. Ross farmed in the Holmes area most of his life. After farming, he worked at New Flyer Bus plant in Crookston until his retirement at the age of 80. Ross was a very dedicated and loving husband. He took care of June at home for many years.

Survivors include his children: Marlon (Carol) Lange, Grand Forks, ND; Kevin (Marsha) Lange, Grand Forks, ND; Donavan (Carmelle) Lange, Moorhead, MN; Sharie (Randy) Hoff, Grand Forks, ND; Kariann Lange, East Grand Forks, MN; Rosanne (Richard) Curtis, East Grand Forks, MN; grandchildren: Jennifer Brock, Rachel (Patrick) Arnold, Rebecca Lange, Timothy Lange, Nathaniel Lange, Joshua (Jade Johnston) Dahm, Nicole Guislason, Brice Hendrikson, Andrew (Jessica) Curtis, Austin (Jessica) Young, Jordan (Jessica) Young, and Jacob Curtis; 12 great-grandchildren; sister, Mae Shroeder; brother Bernell (Hazebelle) Lange;

Preceding him in death were his wife, June; grandson, Ryan Aasen; and brother-in-law, LeRoy Shroeder.
