Our Dear Mother

God saw you getting tired
And a cure was not to be
So, he put His arms around you
And whispered, "Come home with me"

She left us one afternoon
Then slowly came the dawn
She never got to say goodbye
We can't believe she's gone

Please Lord let our mother know
we love and miss her much
And when she turns to smile
Kiss her check and
Hold her for a while

Her smile is gone forever
And her hand we cannot touch
We still have so many memories
Of our mother we loved so much

So, blowing kisses to Heaven
That's what we can do
Whenever we want to say
Mom, we love you!!

I worked with Sandy at Paula's. I enjoyed working with her and miss her sassiness and smart mouth.
