Thomas Wall, 67, of Northwood, ND passed away Monday, February 1, 2020 at Northwood Deaconess Health Center in Northwood. A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 26, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at the Northwood City Park.
Thomas Wall was born August 19, 1953 in Devils Lake, ND to Edgar and Helen (Wee) Wall. He grew up in Devils Lake and then moved out to Renton, WA with his father until the age of 15. He returned to Cooperstown and later joined the United States Army. Tom was stationed in Berlin, Germany as a tank gunner from 1970 – 1972. After the Army, he returned to Cooperstown. On December 27, 1974, Tom married Cynthia Stokkeland in Cooperstown.
Tom worked as a welder/fabricator at Melroe and later as a machinist at Sheyenne Tooling. He was most recently employed at Tri-Steel Manufacturing. Tom enjoyed woodworking, hunting, fishing, and spoiling his granddaughters. He was a volunteer fireman for the Cooperstown Fire Department and a member of the Northwood American Legion.
Survivors include his wife, Cynthia, Northwood; sons: Shawn (Carley) Wall and Jerald Wall, both of Northwood; granddaughters: Wynter Wall, Sophia Wall, Andreya Weber, Shaelynn Wall, Avigail Wall, and Peyton Wall; brother, Harlan (Mary) Wall, Valley City, ND; sisters: Margaret (Mike) Schulz, Dickinson, ND; Debra (Jerry) Kinsey, Las Vegas, NV; Julie (Mike) Martin, Valley City, ND; half-brothers, Steven Wall and Larry Olson; half-sister, Marlys Banks; and aunt, Eldoris Rodlin, Devils Lake, ND;
Preceding him in death was his mother and step-father, Helen and James Vasfaret; father and step-mother, Edgar and Joyce Wall; uncles: Einar, Peter, and Kermit Wall; Omar, Thomas and Richard Wee; and aunt Bernice Yetka.
