Trina Huus

Trina (Hanson) Huus, 95, of Hatton, ND, passed away on Thursday, February 20, 2020 at First Care Living Center in Fosston, MN. Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 29, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at the Bilden-Askew Funeral Home in Northwood, ND. A visitation will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Trina was born, the daughter of Tom and Inga Hanson, on August 24, 1924.  Trina married Waldemar Huus on February 26, 1941 in East Grand Forks, MN.    Waldemar and Trina farmed in the Buxton area for many years.  Trina ran a restaurant and bar in both Buxton and Hatton.  She is survived by her son Amos (Theresa) Pladson, her daughter Geraldine (Melvin) Olson and her grandchildren; Kevin (Linda) Olson, Kim (Ron) Bodensteiner, Wade Pladson, Robert (Christine) Huus, and Shelley (Nick) Bjerke, 13 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her husband Waldemar, her son Larry (Bob) and his wife Sue, and her sisters Francis and Clara.
